Jacinda Ardern has been sworn in as the 40th Prime Minister of New Zealand at a ceremony at Government House this morning.
Winston Peters has been sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister of New Zealand.
The rest of the Executive Council for the 52nd New Zealand Government are currently being be sworn in by Governor General Dame Patsy Reddy.
Following the ceremony, the new Cabinet will meet for the first time at Parliament.
