One of the world's most endangered birds, the kākāpō, shot to fame a few years ago when one mounted Stephen Fry's cameraman on a documentary shoot.
Despite being so frisky, that bird, Sirocco, was tested and discovered to be infertile.
Now he's a showbird, and Jesse Peach was given special access to meet him face to beak.
