Facebook has announced it is creating a tool to alert the roughly 150 million users affected by fake Russian accounts during the US election.
The plan is to roll out the tool by the end of the year, allowing users to see if they actively followed any facebook pages involved in the coordinated campaign.
Around 80,000 people and ads were created by fake accounts or those posing at US citizens.
