Kevin Proctor will step down as co-captain of the Gold Coast Titans, after allegedly taking cocaine with Kiwis captain Jesse Bromwich following the Kiwis 30-12 loss to the Kangaroos.
Both the star forwards were named in court by Canberra man Adrian Mark Crowthe, after he was arrested for possession of cocaine.

"I've asked Graham to say how extremely embarrassed and sorry I am for the damage I've done to the game and my personal reputation since Friday night's Test match in Canberra," Proctor said in a statement.
"After the game we went back to the New Zealand team hotel and had a late dinner. After the dinner we went to a local club to have a few drinks and the rest is a bit of a blur as I obviously had too much to drink before the incident that has caused all the trouble happened much later in the night.
"Although I can't remember exactly what happened, I don't deny it."
The 28-year-old will also stand down from playing until the Titans board makes a decision on the matter.
"I accept that there will be further punishment from my club and the NRL, and I just want to pit this all behind me as quickly as possible and prove I can make it up to everyone," Proctor said.
The Melbourne Storm have yet to make a decision on Bromwich.
Kiwis coach David Kidwell spoke to the Sunday Footy Show earlier in the day and said drugs are not a part of the team's culture.
"If the allegations are true, to all of the rugby league fans and Kiwis fans out there, that's not part of our Te Iwi Kiwi culture," he said.
"The whole of our rugby league sport has taken a hit with the integrity. We have good people in rugby league."
In a separate statement, the Titans said they are providing Proctor with welfare and support to ensure his general well-being.
