Kiwi UFC fighter Dan Hooker has beaten Marc Diakiese at UFC 219 in Las Vegas.
The 'Hangman' finished the Briton in the third round with a guillotine choke, prompting the quick tap and securing his second-successive win in the organisaiton.
Hooker controlled the fight throughout with his superior range and fought-off some heavy punches from Diakiese before finishing the lightweight bout.
It was the first time Hooker (15-7) has put together back-to-back wins in the UFC for the first time in his career.
He immediately made a post-fight plea to Dana White to be on the UFC Perth card in just six weeks' time.
"I want on that card," Hooker said.
Hooker entered the fight coming off one of the biggest win of his career when he defeated Ross Pearson at UFC Fight Night 110 which was held at Spark Arena in Auckland.
