79mins: Chiefs have it and their looking to close the game out and they're working their way towards the Blues 22m. Blues struggling to get their hands on it as the Chiefs show great control to keep the ball in possession. Just a minute left.
77mins: McKenzie excecutes a great exit move and the Blues are pinned back within their own 22m. Great kick.
74mins: CHIEFS PENALTY TRY: Another penalty and the Blues could be another man down. Ref gives a warning, but card remains in the pocket. Another scrum then? Yes it is and it's a penalty try! An automatic seven points and the Chiefs lead.
72mins: It's another penalty and now bit of "how's ya uncle" between the players. Chiefs will have another scrum.
70mins: Retallick wins the lineout and the Chiefs are edging closer to the try line! Looks like a yellow card coming up and Goodhue is sin binned. Penalities just kept mounting. Chiefs opt to scrum, and they're just five metres out.
67mins: Both teams struggling to put phases together and Rieko Ioane now knocks it on. Chiefs go right and Messam is in space! He's tackled on the 22m and the Blues are penalised for being off their feet.
64mins: Wainui puts the kick up, does extremely well to beat the Blues to it to catch it, but his pass to Alaimalo hits the deck off the fullback's hands and it'll be a Blues scrum.
62mins: Perofeta clears and Alaimalo splits open the Blues defence. He's taken just in front of the 22m and the Chiefs maul. Blues do well to hold it up and force the turnover.
60mins: Retallick takes it hard to the line and somehow offloads it to Lienert-Brown who's in space! He tries to find Pulu with a long pass to his right, but bounces short before Pulu can only knock it on.
58mins: Oh my, Blues very lucky. A Blues hand frees the ball up and the clear. Chiefs will have another crack. And Blues are penalsied again at the maul and they want another lineout. They drive and wow, the Chiefs are now penalised for obstruction. What a break for the Blues.
56mins: TMO's looking at potential foul play. It's Tuungafasi. He tackled Wainui in the air but it's just a penalty. Phew. Lucky break. Chiefs opt for the lineout just five metres out from the ty line.
53mins: McKenzie sees space and puts boot to ball but Gatland is there and returns the favour. Chiefs run it back but Tahuriorangi's pass can only find its way into touch.
51mins: Gus Sowakula cuts through the Blues defence like a hot knife through butter and races away 40 metres before he's finally tackled on the 22m. They go right quickly but the long pass can only be knocked on.
49mins: Boshier knocks-on in the tackle and it's a Blues scrum near the 22m. Chiefs put a great shove in and win the penalty! Manu's elbow the guilty party.
46mins: Gatland clears but it's not out and Alaimalo runs it back! Chiefs shift left through McKenzie and takes it up towards the 22m. Ardron leaves his feet at the breakdown and is penalised.
42mins: We're back underway and immediately the Blues are penalied. Chiefs win the lineout and they're just a metre out from the try line! It's somehow squirted free and ref calls it a knock-on. Blues survive.
HALFTIME: CHIEFS 14 - 19 BLUES: Well, well, well, the Blues lead at the break. They started well the visitors, but it looked as if the tide was turning for the Chiefs. Damian McKenzie's had to go off and since then, it's been one-way traffic.
39mins: BLUES PENALTY: Blues win the penalty on halfway and will have one last chance before the break to extend their lead. It'll be a lineout on the 22m. Chiefs collapse the maul illegally and Perofeta slots the easy penalty to extend the lead.
37mins: BLUES TRY - PARSONS: Blues keeping it right, taking it up through their forwards. They're playing with the advantage and Parsons could be in! He picked it up at the base of the breakdown and went low towards the try line and he's over! Perofeta converts and Blues lead.
35mins: Blues offload in the tackle and Akira Ioane is free down the left! He bumps off Marty McKenzie, but his offload can only find Harrirs on the inside before he's tackled into touch inside his own 22m. Danger not over yet.
33mins: Bad news for Chiefs fans. Damian McKenzie's had to go off with an injury and he's been replaced by his brother, Marty. Oh no, Kaino's had to hobble off as well. Both teams battling niggles to their stars.
31mins: CHIEFS PENALTY: Ardron makes a great catch from the kick-off and he's away! Makes a further 10 metres before finally being tackled. Chiefs are inside the 22m and they have the penalty, Pryor the guilty party at the breakdown. McKenzie kicks the simple penalty.
28mins: BLUES PENALTY: Perofeta gets the ball from the Chiefs kick, fools one with a step, steps another, then another and makes his way to the Chiefs 22m. The home side are pinged at the ruck and Perofeta will have a shot at goal and it's over!
25mins: Lienert-Brown takes it to the line and Pulu is into some pace down the right. Chiefs playing with real confidence and they're not far out. No, they concede the penalty at the breakdown and the Blues survive.
22mins: Chies go left off the scrum on halfway and Wainui gets it and makes some metres down the left. They're playing at pace, nearing the Blues 22m.
19mins: CHIEFS PENALTY: Blues now conceding the penalties and McKenzie will line up another shot at goal, but it's a bit further out, about 42m on the angle. McKenzie has plenty on it and it's over!
16mins: Chiefs really taking control now after earlier beind under the pump. Blues clear through Perofeta and the Chiefs will have the lineout on halfway.
13mins: CHIEFS TRY - WAINUI: Alaimalo is put into space, beats a couple before finding McKenzie, who somehow offloads to Wainui on his left who races away 20 metres to score the try. McKenzie can't convert.
11mins: Wainui takes a really good catch and the Chiefs clear through McKenzie, but Collins does well to track back, take the mark and kicks it back for the lineout around halfway.
8mins: CHIEFS PENALTY: Chiefs inside the Blues 22m and are building nicely towards the tryline. Pulu steps on and goes extremely close! They win the penalty for offside and McKenzie will have the easy shot at goal right in front. And it's over.
5mins: BLUES PENALTY: Harris is now the guilty party at the breakdown and Perofeta will lineup another shot at goal from a similar distance and angle. And it's the same result, over!
3mins: BLUES PENALTY: Chiefs immediately infringe at the breakdown and the Blues will have a shot right in front of goal through Perofeta. And he makes no mistake.
1mins: Blues kick-off and the Chiefs will have the first crack with ball in hand.
