Steven Adams and the Oklahoma City Thunder have had their title hopes dashed after a game six defeat to the Utah Jazz in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
The Thunder headed into the game needing a win to force a game seven, but were beaten 96-91 in Utah.
Rookie Donovan Mitchel led the way for the home team, scoring 36 points, and was well supported by Australian Joe Ingles, who chipped in with 12 points and a Rudy Gobert double-double.
Russell Westbrook once again looked to be the catalyst for the Thunder after he inspired them to an unlikely victory in game five.
The former MVP scored 46 points, but only had Adams for support, as he notched yet another impressive double-double, with 19 points and 15 rebounds.
The Jazz will take on the James Harden-led Houston Rockets in the Western Conference semi-finals.
