Kiwi Formula One driver Brendon Hartley hopes a return to his second 'home' track of Monaco will provide the boost he needs to a flagging debut campaign.
Currently sitting 18th on the driver standings with one competition point, Hartley is considered at risk of losing his spot on the Toro Rosso team, unless he can show improvement soon.
Born in Palmerston North, he nominates the Melbourne F1 event as his 'home' event, but three years living in the European principality sees him equally comfortable at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.
"I'll actually get to wake up in my own bed and make myself a coffee in the morning, so Monaco is another track I'm really looking forward to," he says.

This week, Hartley took to the Toro Rosso race simulator to talk fans through the tight street circuit.
"I love street tracks," he says. "It's a huge rush - all the senses come alive and you feel like you're going at warp speed when everything's coming in so close.
"Most of the Formula One drivers today will tell you the same thing. I think some of us get a bit upset with some of the new tracks with huge run-off areas, but you go to Monaco and you really feel the adrenalin rushing through your blood when you're dicing with the walls, by millimetres sometimes or even touching them."
Hartley finished 12th in his last outing at the Spanish Grand Prix, after crashing out in practice and starting last on the grid.
