Just days after announcing its split from Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand has announced new routes across the Tasman.
From December 2018, the airline will fly up to four times a week between Queenstown and Brisbane and up to five times a week between Wellington and Brisbane.
The airline is also moving to a twice daily service out of Christchurch to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane on peak days.
There will also be extra capacity out of Auckland, with an extra daily flight to Sydney, a business-timed flight to Melbourne and an evening flight to Brisbane.
Air New Zealand announced last week that they were ending an eight-year alliance with Virgin Australia, which alowed both airlines to sell tickets on each other's flights.
