An Australian news anchor has been left red-faced after dropping an f-bomb live on air.
During Sunday's live broadcast, Channel Seven's Adelaide presenter Jessica Adamson was caught using the word after stumbling over her words on-air - and apparently believing her microphone had been turned off.
"Ahead on Seven News - exclusive details on funding cuts that it's feared will cost lives, and the Big Ben cover-up - why its famous bongs are about to fall silent," she said. "F***."
It's not the first time a newreader has embarrassed themselves on-air.
Nerves got the better of a North Dakota newsreader during his first day, and he let a few choice words slip during his debut.
The nervous newbie said he didn't realise the microphone was turned on.
