A giant, "angry" spider forced a Queensland family into lockdown, traumatising them when they tried to use their barbeque over the weekend.
Lauren Ansell, from Mount Coolum, came home to find the massive beast resting on the sliding glass door.
It was dubbed 'Aragog', after the massive spider from the Harry Potter series.
And just like in Harry Potter, while things started peaceful it quickly escalated. Ms Ansell said the critter grew angry when they tried to move it so they could use their barbeque.

"We made it unhappy as we tried to move it so we could cook," she said, according to 7 News.
Ms Ansell's boyfriend even brought in the hunter of the family, holding a large grey cat up to the beast to show just how large the spider was.
When her boyfriend tried to squash it in the door, it grew infuriated, dropping off and scuttling away into the garden.
It made for a slightly on-edge night for the family, but overall they were glad to be freed of their jailer.
