A three-year-old has been told he can't take part in a Disneyland 'Princess for a Day' event because he's a boy.
British parenting blogger Hayley McLean-Glass says her son Noah is "about the biggest Elsa fan in the world", and dresses up as the iconic Frozen character every day.
"He knows every single word to 'Let It Go' and all of the other Frozen songs," she wrote on her blog, Sparkles and Stretchmarks.
"When I was scrolling through a Disney Facebook group one day, I came across some beautiful photos of little girls dressed up as princesses in your 'Princess For A Day' shoots at the Disneyland Hotel. Noah who was sitting next to me saw these too and was buzzing with excitement!"
But after she enquired about the events, held at Disneyland Paris, she email she got back turned her blood cold.
"At this time it is not possible to book Princess for a Day for a Boy," it read, instead offering her a "tailored gift pack" of "princess-themed items" for the tidy sum of €300.
Ms McLean-Glass couldn't let that go.
"I just think that it's unfair, I mean if there was an activity such as a pirate dress up or a Spiderman event, little girls would be allowed to do it," she told ITV News.
"If anyone told a little girl that she couldn't do that there would be absolute uproar, but I just don't understand why it's different for a boy."
Disneyland Paris apologised for the "distress caused", calling it an "isolated incident".
"Diversity is near and dear to our hearts and we want to make sure that all our guests enjoy their experience at our resort," the company told ITV News.
"Of course, both boys and girls are welcome to enjoy the princess for a day experience in addition to all our other special activities."
