At least 18 people have been killed in a double-decker bus crash in rural Hong Kong.
Forty-seven other passengers were injured in the accident.
Firefighters cut open the toppled bus roof to free the trapped commuters.
One witness told a local television network that the bus driver had been speeding around bends in the road.
The Kowloon Motor Bus Co, the company that operated the bus, said it would investigate the cause of the crash.
A company executive also said $HK80,000 (NZ$14,100) would be paid to the families of each victim.
The accident is Hong Kong's deadliest bus crash since a 2003 crash that killed 21.
