A pregnant American woman was forced to deal with armed officers and police dogs after being told her family would not be allowed on a Disney cruise.
Despite wearing a t-shirt that read "Keep calm and enjoy your Disney vacation", 25-week pregnant Emily Jackson was told safety concerns meant she could not board the cruise in Miami, WFTV reported.
Jackson, a video blogger from St Louis, uploaded footage of the ordeal to YouTube, which shows an armed police officer dealing with her family.
"They had the guy with a gun following us," Ms Jackson told WFTV.
"They had a K-9 unit. So, we then had to take both babies outside, wait almost two hours for our luggage outside in the heat. Both babies are red-faced, and it was terrible."
A Disney Cruise spokesperson said while they understood the guests' disappointment, health and safety reasons meant their policy did not allow women who have reached the 24th week of pregnancy to travel.
The spokesperson said this is consistent with other cruise lines and is noted on their website and in travel documents guests are given.
"The Miami-Dade Police Department is responsible for security at the port and handled the situation as they felt appropriate given the guest's actions."
