A magnitude 4.1 earthquake has rocked Christchurch this afternoon.
The quake struck 10 kilometres northeast of the city at 1:19pm, at a depth of 19 kilometres. It was centred off the coast of North Beach.
There were more than 200 reports of people feeling the quake across Canterbury, according to GeoNet, but no reports of damage.
