A man has died after a small aircraft crashed at Matamata Aerodrome in the Waikato.
The crash occurred around 11:15am on Tuesday and emergency services are at the scene.
Paramedics administered CPR but attempts to resuscitate the man failed.
He was the only person on board the plane and the Civil Aviation Authority is investigating the crash.
