Murdered farmer Scott Guy’s wife has made a direct appeal to his killer to do the “right and decent thing” and confess.

Kylee Guy made her plea in a heartfelt public message, thanking everyone who had helped her and the police so far.

This Tuesday, Mr Guy would have turned 32. He won’t reach that milestone, and he’ll never meet his newborn son, Drover.

His widow today released two photos of their sons and a statement describing the special relationship Scott will never have.

“Drover is so beautiful,” she wrote.

“He is now three months old and is a blueprint of his father. Scotty would be so proud of himself for creating such a perfect little man.”

It’s five months since Mr Guy was shot dead at the gate of their Feilding home.

Kylee says two-year-old Hunter still thinks his father is coming home.

He talks about him all the time and, every night, says “love you my daddy” and blows him kisses.

“Knowing Scotty is not going to be there to watch our son open his presents and share the joy that will be on his face, is the most heartbreaking of all,” Kylee writes.

She then addressed his killer directly, saying, “How can you get up every morning and go about your day, with the murder of my husband and our children’s father on your conscience?

“My appeal to you is to do the right and decent thing. Confess to what you have done.”

Kylee said her and Scott’s sixth wedding anniversary in January would be indescribably.

She asked the New Zealand public to give the police any useful information they had, so that she and her boys can begin to move forward.
