The widow of murdered Feilding man Scott Guy has made another emotional plea to her husband's killer saying she just wants the nightmare to be over.

Mr Guy died from multiple shotgun wounds in the driveway of his rural Feilding house on July 8. Police are still hunting for the 31-year-old's killer and his widow Kylee said in a statement that life had not got any easier.

"It still doesn't seem real, there are no words to explain the horrible life we are living in. Our life will never be the same without our Scotty. Every minute of the day is a struggle, the only way we are coping is the loving support from family, friends and having my two little boys."

Mrs Guy said the love from her two sons Hunter and Drover, who was born after his father was killed, was the only thing getting her through.

"My two little boys are growing up so fast. Drover is a huge reminder of Scott as he has been blessed with his characteristics and looks, he is a perfect little man.

"It is amazing how Hunter has held on to a lot of his dad's memories. Hunter is still struggling, he knows he's gone but can not understand, he's just waiting for him to come through the door. He just wants his daddy back."

Detective Inspector Sue Schwalger told NZPA there had been no new developments in the case.

Mrs Guy begged anyone who had thought of something or a rumour or noticed anything strange to ring the police.

"It could be something so small that could end this nightmare. I thank everyone that has come forward with any ideas and information and encourage it to keep on coming in.

"Scotty did not deserve this, he is the most kindest, caring, amazing father and husband. How could this happen to such a wonderful person? Put yourself in our life and think of my boys."
