Tom Scott of local hip hop crew Home Brew appears to have threatened music journalist Duncan Greive on Twitter, saying he wants to “break his face”.
Scott is upset about an article in Rip It Up magazine by Greive that was released in April. In the article, which is based on an interview with Odd Future, Greive quotes Mike G as saying Scott approached them wanting a rap battle but was “stopped real quick”.
“I think before I can start this week the way I want to I gotta come see you and break your f**king little face Duncan,” says Scott on Twitter in response.
“Then I can get back to loving everybody. Use that last tweet as evidence on your police statement if u have to bruv.”
Greive and Scott have tweeted each other several times since last night although some tweets, including the quotes above, have since been deleted – click here to see a screenshot.
Greive has tweeted a photo of the paragraph in Rip It Up that appears to have offended Scott and other people have joined in the discussion including Anika Moa and Steve Gray.
