As the Commonwealth Games comes to a close at Birmingham, New Zealand are celebrating a record-breaking haul of 20 gold medals.
Kiwi cyclist Aaron Gate took home four gold medals and was duly chosen as the flag bearer for the closing ceremony.
This NZ team boasts the most successful track cycling team and most successful swim squad in the country's Commonwealth Games history.
And Newshub has been there every step of the way, with eight of the very best presenters, reporters and camera operators, led by senior news anchor Mike McRoberts and Europe correspondent Lisette Reymer.
McRoberts has previously reported on three other Commonwealth Games, and four Olympics, but believes Birmingham ranks as the 'best ever' he's been a part of.
