Police have launched a homicide investigation into the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown.
The daughter of singers Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown passed away yesterday at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, surrounded by her loved ones - including her father.
The Fulton County District attorney's office confirmed the aspiring singer's death "remains open and under investigation" – with the 22-year-old's boyfriend Nick Gordon remaining a "person of interest".
Brown died after succumbing to injuries she sustained after drowning in a bath. Doctors believed she had been under water for up to eight minutes starving her brain of oxygen and leaving her unable to regain consciousness.
She was found by her boyfriend Nick, along with his friend, Max Lomas, who performed CPR on her before calling paramedics who rushed her to hospital.
