Claustrophobic star Ryan Reynolds still has nightmares about his 2010 movie Buried, because the Spanish crew members couldn't understand him when he was yelling out "safe words" in a bid to get out of a hole in the ground.
The movie star spent much of the film in a makeshift coffin, and still can't believe he signed up for the project - because he even freaks out in elevators.
He tells WENN, "I've always had a bit of an issue with claustrophobia, but every time I've read a script that evolves some aspect of that I'm pretty intrigued.
"Buried was life altering for me. I had safe words for that but what's funny is we shot in Barcelona and I was the only one who spoke English, so I remember yelling out a couple of safe words and everyone just looked at me like I was demanding lunch!"
