British rockers Bloc Party returned to touring this week with a revamped line-up following their hiatus.

The 'Banquet' hit makers parted ways with their drummer Matt Tong and went on an extended break in 2013, and upon their return this year, it was revealed bassist Gordon Moakes had also left.

Frontman Kele Okereke and guitarist Russell Lissack, the only original members, returned to touring with an intimate gig at The Glass House in Pomona, California on Wednesday, where Okereke told the crowd, "Let me bring you up to speed. There's been some changes in Bloc Party HQ over the last few years... As you can see, we have some new members... It's quite a weird and emotional feeling for us because it's our first performance (together)."

They unveiled Louise Bartle as their new drummer and Justin Harris on bass during the show, which was followed by a second gig at The Roxy venue in Los Angeles on Thursday.
