Colin Farrell has been added to the cast of the much-anticipated Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
The Irish actor will play the role of Graves, a wizard that Eddie Redmayne's character Newt Scamander meets in New York City.
Fantastic Beasts takes place 70 years before the events of the Harry Potter series, telling the story of how Scamander documented his magical adventures and created the text book which was used by Harry Potter and the other students of Hogwarts.
The fictional syllabus, which has a foreword written by headmaster Albus Dumbledore, features descriptions of 75 different magical creatures, but very little information about the author, so there is still a lot of mystery surrounding the movie's plot.
Katherine Waterston will be playing the female lead and Ezra Miller and Alison Sudol are also part of the cast for the film, which will be directed by David Yates.
