Hugh Jackman is taking a revamped version of his 2011 one-man Broadway production to his native Australia.
The X-Men star's musical extravaganza Back to Broadway has been reworked as an arena show for a five-city tour Down Under in November under the new title Broadway To Oz.
Jackman says, "(The show is) a dream come true. This is THE show I've always wanted to bring home... There's dance, there's stories. You're going to get to know the real me in that show. I'll tell you what it's like being in my shoes in my career - both on screen and off, growing up."
He also promises the performance will be "bigger" than the Broadway version, adding, "No two shows are the same... I like to listen and respond to the audience: hecklers, bring it on, I love it."
The production is scheduled to open in Melbourne on November 24 and end in Perth on December 15.
