Lily-Rose Depp, daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, has been hand-picked by Karl Lagerfeld to be the new face of Chanel.
The 16-year-old actress/model will feature in ads for Chanel Eyewear's Fall/Winter 2015-2016 campaign. This makes Lily-Rose the second generation of Chanel ambassadors after her mother, French actress/model Vanessa Paradis, was the face of Chanel's Rouge Coco lipstick in 2010.
Paradis also appeared in a perfume campaign for the iconic fashion house back in 1991.
In the ad, which Lily-Rose shared on Instagram, she models two of the eyewear collection's designs and Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld describes her as a "baby-doll in a world imbued with sweetness and femininity."
"Lily-Rose is stunning, she's a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star," adds Lagerfeld.
Lily-Rose is one of the Pirates of the Caribbean star's two children with Vanessa Paradis. The Hollywood couple split in 2012.
