New Zealand feature film Born to Dance has premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and last night pop music icon Janet Jackson attended its sold out final screening.
Jackson was in town with her Unbreakable World Tour crew which includes Alex Carson, a Kiwi who also stars in the film.
Shrouded in security, Jackson also attended a Q&A with director Tammy Davis and stars Stan Walker and Tia-Taharoa Maipi.

After the film's screening, Variety labelled Stan Walker its 'International Star to Watch' for 2015 and The Hollywood Reporter awarded it a positive review.
Born to Dance will open in New Zealand cinemas on September 24 after a red carpet premiere at Event Cinemas Manakau on September 23.
