US-based photographer Jono Rotman knows his latest exhibition will receive mixed reviews -- that's because his subjects are members of New Zealand's most notorious gang.
Rotman, who is based in San Francisco, spent years travelling to and from the US and New Zealand to visit the homes of more than 200 men from the Mongrel Mob.
The images are intended to challenge the standard representation of gangs.
Auckland's Gow Langsford Gallery will display Mongrel Mob Portraits until April 16.
