Videos and details have been posted online of the reunited Guns N' Roses' first performance -- an intimate gig at a key venue of the band's early days, the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California.
Frontman Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan of the classic line-up were joined by keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese, guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer.
It's the first time Rose, Slash and McKagan have performed on stage together since July 1993. Rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin and drummer Steven Adler, who rounded out the band's Appetite for Destruction five-member line-up, did not take part in the reunion.
The Troubadour venue has a capacity of 500, and hundreds of tickets were snapped up for just US$10 each. The crowd was made up of lucky fans, celebrities, friends and family members of the band.
Among the star guests in the audience were Bradley Cooper, Emily Ratajkowksi, Kate Hudson, Jim Carrey, David Arquette and Michelle Rodriguez.
Cameras and mobile phones were banned from the gig, but photos and videos have nonetheless been posted online.
The first of the snaps, posted during the show, featured once-warring former bandmates Axl and Slash together onstage.
Guns N' Roses are now preparing for gigs in Las Vegas, Mexico City and Coachella before embarking on the 20-date Not in This Lifetime tour.
