A segment on Polish breakfast television has left a magician red-faced and a presenter red-handed after a trick went awry.
The magician - a semi-finalist on Poland's Got Talent - made presenter Marzena Rogalska slam her hand down on top of a paper bag that he believed to be empty, but was actually housing a thick nail.
Ms Rogalska reacted instantly - but her co-host and the magician both took a number of seconds to realise she wasn't joking and offer assistance.
Following the incident, she was taken to hospital and given treatment and a tetanus shot before appearing in a video to stress she had no hard feelings towards the magician.
