TV's biggest night of the year has concluded with Game of Thrones, Veep and The People v OJ Simpson: American Crime Story pulling in big wins.
The 68th annual Primetime Emmy Awards took place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, and was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel - who wasted no time in making jokes about Donald Trump.
Game of Thrones is the biggest TV show on the planet is now the record holder for the most Emmys for a scripted series in history with a staggering 38 wins.
It won both writing and directing awards on the strength of their blockbuster episode Battle of the Bastards, along with the coveted Best Drama Series for the second consecutive year.
When it came to the snubs, House of Cards and its legion of fans were left empty-handed. Netflix's flagship drama had 13 nominations, second only to Game of Thrones among drama series - but it walked away with nothing.
We all know how much Frank Underwood hates to lose, so Elliot had better watch his back - Rami Malek won on his first ever nomination for his lead role in Mr Robot.
Amidst equally strong competition for Lead Actress in a Drama, another first-timer took the stage for her first ever Emmy - Tatiana Maslany for Orphan Black.
In the comedy stakes, it was a fifth consecutive win for Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Veep. She has eight Emmys from 22 nominations in her career.
Veep also took home Best Comedy.
