Russell Crowe and Azealia Banks have got into a messy fight in a Los Angeles hotel room which reportedly included bloody threats and racist slurs.
The '212' hitmaker was reportedly a guest of Wu-Tang member RZA, who has co-starred with Crowe in multiple films, at a gathering in the New Zealand-born actor's hotel room.
According to eyewitness reports on TMZ, Banks insulted the "boring white man" music that was being played, before yelling that she would break her glass and stab the other guests "in the throat".
Crowe is then said to have grabbed her in a "bear hug" and handed her to security, who escorted her off the premieses.
The Banks version of events is different and she has reportedly now gone to the police, accusing Crowe of assault.
In a since-deleted Facebook post which is still being shared online, she claims the Gladiator star called her the N-word, choked her and spat on her, also claiming the ordeal left her feeling suicidal.
Crowe has not made a public statement, but he did retweet the first TMZ story on the incident.
Banks was banned from Twitter after a series of racially abusive tweets attacking former One Direction star Zayn Malik.
