The latest home showcased on Grand Designs NZ was Francophiles Sarah and Philippe Lods' modernist abode in Auckland's Ponsonby.
The couple both have an eye for detail, bordering on obsession, and planned to spend $300,000 on steel windows and a wall of glazing on their creation, which is based on Parisian apartments.
"This home is a tribute to Sarah and Philippe's skills as design collaborators. Their shared vision has imbued it with elegance, warmth and personality," says host Chris Moller.
