There might be a different kind of aroma coming from the kitchen when rapper Snoop Dogg joins lifestyle guru Martha Stewart for a new cooking show premiering on a US television network.
While the two might seem like an unlikely pair the Gin and Juice rapper and Queen of Cuisine have been pals for years and even teamed up last year for Justin Beiber's Comedy Central Roast.
Television network VH1 promises a "half-baked evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation, and fun where nothing is off limits".
"I'm not high right now but whoever gave us this show, they must have been," Snoop says, in a sneak peek of the first episode.
However, Snoop says he's not surprised his career has evolved in this way.
"I've always had an open mind on where I could go," he told Entertainment Weekly. "I never thought that this was it. I never had a cap or a limit on what I could do."
They're joined by special guests rapper Wiz Khalifa and actor Seth Rogen for the first cook-off of classic fried chicken.
Throughout the 10-episodes they will be joined by other celebrities such as rapper 50 Cent, actress-singer Keke Palmer, and actress Bella Thorne.
Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party premieres Monday November 7 (local time).
