MMA superstar Conor McGregor will be appearing in the seventh season of Game of Thrones, says UFC president Dana White.
The Irish fighter is being talked about as a potential opponent for undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather and recently hit small screens in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
McGregor will be playing a pirate on Euron Greyjoy's crew in a cameo role that won't include any lines of dialogue, according to reports.
White confirmed McGregor will be appearing in the hit fantasy show during a Fox Sports Live interview, saying he didn't know he had accepted until just recently.
"I knew that a few months ago they were interested in putting him in the show," White said.
"I'm glad he did it. It'll be great. The show is huge. It's awesome, and I'm excited for him."
If he gets into a fight on the show, it won't be the first time McGregor has gone at it with a Game of Thrones actor.
He was filmed sparring with Hafthor Julius Bjornsson, the Icelandic strongman who plays The Mountain on the show.
Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss are known to be big fans of the UFC.
