You often hear of people shelling out hundreds of dollars to see their favourite musicians play live.
But one Californian man has taken things to the next level, forking out more than US$80,000 (NZ$109,000) on at least 90 procedures to transform his face into that of pop queen Britney Spears.
Bryan Ray, 31, says he has been a Britney fan since he was 17 and has even learned all of her dance routines.
According to the Daily Mail, his friends even refer to him as "Britney".
Ray has had a nose job, had fat injected into his cheeks, laser hair removal, lip fillers, Botox injections and more.
"I love making modifications to my face and body with the art of plastic surgery, fillers and countless other cosmetic procedures," he says.
"Ever since I was young there was something about Britney Spears and the qualities she had that I thought was the perfect package."
Mr Ray says even his doctors asked which celebrity he wanted to look like.
"My surgeons who designed my veneers asked me which celebrity smile I wanted to base mine on and it was hers," he says.
"Now with my looks, I want to get into modelling. I love impersonating Britney Spears so I want to continue doing that and see where it takes me."
With a goal of staying as youthful as he can for as long as he can, the self-proclaimed "human doll" spends more than $500 a month on cosmetics to maintain his look.
