Jango Fett is Khal Drogo's father, sort of, as Temuera Morrison has been cast as Jason Momoa's dad in Aquaman.
The Shortland Street and Star Wars actor will take the role of Thomas Curry, a fisherman and lighthouse keeper who manages to catch the attention of undersea princess Atlanna (Nicole Kidman), in the DC Comics film.
It'll be Morrison's second DC role after he played Abin Sur in Green Lantern, alongside Taika Waititi.
Game of Thrones star Momoa will play Arthur Curry, aka Aquaman, in the 2018 film.
He first appeared in the role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and will next be seen in ensemble DC film Justice League later this year.
Once Were Warriors star Morrison was recently seen alongside Scott Adkins in direct-to-DVD action film Hard Target 2.
Aquaman starts filming in Australia in April.
