Hollywood actor Woody Harrelson has given up smoking weed after 30 years, saying his habit was holding him back.
The True Detective actor told Vulture magazine he quit almost a year ago, but is still tempted from time to time.
"It was just 30 solid years of partying too f**king hard," he says.
Harrelson was once such a fan of the substance, he tried to get a license to run a weed dispensary out of his Hawaiian home where he lives with his wife and three children.
The admission came during an interview about the Oscar nominee's upcoming film, Wilson, the story of a man who convinces his ex-wife to join him on the pursuit to find their long-lost daughter.
But, Harrelson says despite giving up, he's still a pot advocate.
