Stan Walker has released a new teaser for his upcoming song, which appears to be heavily influenced by Māori culture.
The singer and Australian Idol winner has posted clips from the music video for his soon-to-be released track 'New Takeover' on his Instagram.
From the footage, it's heavily influenced by Māori, with Walker saying that the song is a statement and representation of his people.
"Our beautiful women, mana wāhine representing in "NEW TAKEOVER" he wrote on one post.
"It's a song for all the underdogs, the minorities, the outsiders and the indigenous people who don't have a platform to speak or express who they are and their truth," Walker explained to NZME.
The track will be released on Friday.
