After Anna Faris made her first solo public appearance at the Emmys on Sunday since splitting with Chris Pratt, many were wondering why the actor was notably absent from the ceremony.

A TMZ reporter questioned Pratt on how he felt about his exclusion, as the Jurassic World actor walked streets of Los Angeles on Monday (local time).
"Oh gosh, were the Emmy's tonight? I guess I wasn't invited. I didn't get an invitation. I haven't checked my mailbox lately," 38-year-old Pratt joked.
But the actor had nothing but praise for ex-wife Faris, speaking publicly about her for the first time since the Facebook post announcing their separation.
"I know she did great," Buzzfeed reports he told TMZ. "Anna did an amazing job, man. She rules. Her and Allison [Janney] they both looked great. Go watch Mom on CBS!"
The Hollywood couple announced they were separating last month, saying they were "disappointed".
"Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating," the Facebook post read. "We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed... We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."
