After months of rumours, The Pussycat Dolls have practically confirmed a reunion with the creation of an official website and Instagram account.

The girl group consisted of frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger along with Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton.

Their career spanned six years and produced hits like 'Don't Cha' and 'Stickwitu' before they split in 2009 - since then, there has been constant speculation over a reunion.

Currently, fans can only sign up to the PCD reunion website's mailing list and follow the Instagram account of the same name.

A source close to the group reportedly told The Sun that talk of a reunion has "been rife for a few years now".

"They are still deciding whether it will involve a full tour or just a handful of performances but they are excited to be getting out there together again," the source said.

"When they parted ways in 2009 it was only intended to be a hiatus, so it feels like the right thing to do."

The insider added the pop group are considering recording new music.

"As well as their old tunes, they are hoping to treat fans with new music, too."
