A man has been arrested and charged with indecent assault in relation to an incident involving The Edge host Jay-Jay Harvey.
In early October, she posted on Facebook about an "uncomfortable experience" with a taxi driver, saying he groped her breasts and tried to follow her into her house.
Harvey took a two-week hiatus from broadcasting after the alleged incident and now a man has been charged.
"Police have arrested a 27-year-old Massey man following an investigation into an incident which occurred on October 1, 2017," says police officer Phillip Cox.
"He has been charged with indecent assault and will be appearing in the Auckland District Court on December 6. As this is now before the courts, we are unable to comment further on this matter."

When Harvey returned to her job at The Edge, she emotionally spoke out about not only the incident itself, but also the sceptical remarks made in response.
"I was indecently assaulted. It was unwanted and it's not okay," she said.
"The frightening thing is it's happening to too many people. I can't believe how many people are inappropriately touched or assaulted or whatever. It's unacceptable."
Harvey was reportedly informed about the arrest on Thursday night.
