Korean pop star Jonghyun has died suddenly at the age of 27, reportedly taking his own life.
The SHINee star died at the Konkuk University Hospital in Seoul on December 18 (local time) after suffering from cardiac arrest.
Jonghyun's sister had contacted police concerned he was attempting suicide after receiving a chilling note from him.
According to local media, when police arrived at his home they found Jonghyun unconscious, so he was taken to hospital.
