Following its successful Golden Globes win last week, Hulu has gone and surprised everyone by unexpectedly dropping the new trailer for season two of The Handmaid's Tale.

The new clip for the dystopian drama, based on the classic Margaret Atwood novel, gives an ominous glimpse into life outside the confines of Gilead.
There were some teases for fans of the show, including June (Elizabeth Moss) wearing the same mask we saw Emily (Alexis Bledel) wear during her punishment last season.
We also see a glimpse of Moira in Canada, and what looks like the feared colonies - contaminated and polluted regions of the former United States that the Republic of Gilead sends its prisoners to.
Based on the famous dystopian novel, the show is set in a near future in which women are stripped of all rights.
It earned Hulu three Golden Globe awards last week and several Emmy Awards in September.
The new season will launch on Hulu on April 25. Kiwi fans can only hope that Lightbox, the streaming service which features The Handmaids Tale here, will be streaming it direct from the US.
