A Māori actress taking the world by storm stunned viewers with an incredible performance of her Greatest Showman hit 'This Is Me' on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

Keala Settle, a Broadway performer, has heritage and family in Aotearoa. She plays bearded lady Lettie Lutz in the biographical musical drama which stars Hugh Jackman as PT Barnum.
Accompanied by a group of young dancers, the Hawaii-born actress sang the Oscar-nominated song on the talk show on Wednesday (local time).
"Our next performer has had an incredible three months," Degeneres introduced the singer.
"Her performance in the hit film the greatest showman was praised by critics, and her song is nominated for an Academy Award."
Settle has already had a successful season, with 'This Is Me' winning the Golden Globe for Best Original Song.
Jackman told Newshub last year Settle was "one of those people you immediately fall in love with".
"She's the most talented, authentic, real, generous person I've ever met."
The Academy Awards will take place on March 4 in Los Angeles.
