Unnamed sources tell gaming news outlet Kotaku that the Spyro package will include improved visuals, new assets, a remastered soundtrack and other enhancements.
It's said to include three old titles - Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
The report claims the new game will be officially announced next month, before being released in September, which would mark the franchise's 20th anniversary.
The game's publisher, Activision, is said to have signed a temporary exclusivity deal with PlayStation, but an Xbox release may come later.
