Stan Walker has given more insight into his 'life-changing' health battle ahead of an intimate documentary coming to Three.
The singer and actor gave an interview to TV Guide in which he said his struggle has had a positive impact.
"I have decided that I'm not going to wait for anything anymore," said Walker.
"I'm going to live out my wildest dreams and be better than I have ever been and unapologetic of who I am."
Walker said he found out he was sick "sometime in the end of 2016, but it wasn't until mid-2017 that I realised it was actually something really serious and life-threatening."
TV Guide also interviewed Mitchell Hawkes, the director of Stan, says it's an important documentary that will help other people battling life-threatening illnesses.
"I think this is the most honest, raw Stan that you're ever going to see," said Hawkes.
"For people that are going through tough medical journeys, I think there is a lot of hope in there and there is a lot of resilience and Stan talks about what he goes through."
Stan will be broadcast on Three on Sunday, March 25 at 8:30pm.
