Adding to a growing series of reboots hitting our screens, we might just have our next one.
Tim Allen is very keen to bring his popular '90s sitcom Home Improvement back to television.
The 64-year-old actor was asked by Entertainment Tonight at an Oscar viewing party whether the entire original Home Improvement cast would be down for a reboot.
"I can't say everybody, but it has been floated," Allen revealed. "And more than I would have expected said, 'Yeah, that would be cool to do it years later,' like Roseanne."
"I like that idea, yeah; I'd be very interested in that idea."
He did admit he especially missed his cancelled comedy Last Man Standing, which ended in March last year after six seasons.
Home Improvement, which launched Allen's career, ran for eight seasons from 1991-1999. Based on his stand-up comedy, the series followed Tim 'The Toolman' Taylor and his family.
The comedy also launched the career of '90s and early 2000s heart-throb, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, who played one of Allen's three sons.
If the series did reboot they would need a new actor to play the knowledgeable, mostly unseen, neighbour Wilson. Actor Earl Hindman died in 2003.
