Donald Glover just appeared as Lando Calrissian in the latest Star Wars movie, created and starred in TV show Atlanta and is also known for releasing music under the moniker Childish Gambino.
He's a Grammy award-winning musician who recently wrote and released the song 'This Is America', to widespread critical acclaim.
Cardi B is a chart-topping rapper, an ex-reality TV star and also someone who didn't realise Donald Glover and Childish Gambino are the same person.

- Childish Gambino's provocative video for 'This is America' has the internet shook
In a now-deleted tweet, the 'Bodak Yellow' rapper wrote:
"It's amazing how Donald Glover and Childish Gambino look soo much alike. I think they secretly the same person!!! Soo dope!!"
Of course, it wasn't long before Cardi's Twitter feed was alight with memes and jokes taunting her over the unfortunate mistake.
"WAIT...YOU WAS SERIOUS," one tweet read.
"You're definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed..." teased another.
Cardi B is notorious for her offbeat sense of humour, leading some followers to assume she was joking. However, she quickly deleted her first tweet and wrote another saying: "Wait, I'm confuse[d] now?!"
As it turns out, the pregnant rapper shouldn't feel too bad about not realising Donald Glover is a man of many talents - she is not alone.
"Girllll I low key didn't know either but I played it off like I knew wtf was going on," one reply read.
In fact, Twitter is full of similar confessions:
"Everyone remembers where they were when Michael Jackson died, and everyone remembers where they were when they first found out that Donald Glover and Childish Gambino are the same person."
As for Glover, AKA Gambino, he's probably too busy promoting Solo: A Star Wars Story and going viral with his socio-politically charged music video to mind either way.
