"Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favourite people on the planet, Malcom McCormick," she wrote.
"I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationships changes or what the universe holds for each of us!"
The pair reportedly called it quits due to hectic work schedules. They were just four months shy of their 2 year anniversary, but they had been in each other's lives for much longer.
Miller featured on Grande's first big hit, 'The Way' back in 2013, after being set up by Grande's record label.
The pop star made it clear her and Miller would remain close friends: "I can't wait to know and support you forever and I'm so proud of you!!
"Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it's not you."
